Anatomy Of A Reset (August 2014)

One of my local Targets completed their reset AND stocked the shelves (no longer a given with resets).  There were a couple interesting findings.

First, as expected, the current Saga Legends figures and Mission Series sets in the ROTS 3D Darth Vader Lava packaging occupies the pegs for those two DPCI’s.  We weren’t expecting to see the new Rebels packaged items with this reset.

Unfortunately, the “Class I” vehicles shelf is occupied by the current ROTS 3D Darth Vader Lava packaged smaller scale vehicles.  These are not hold overs from before the reset.  These stores did not carry that product prior.  This stock the store received specifically for this reset.  It’s the current assortment with Boba Fett’s Slave I and the two Jedi Starfighters.  These likely will not sell well.  This might mean the Rebels vehicles, such as the AT-DP Walker, which I am looking forward to, could get blocked by this product.  Not happy about this development.
