Joe can be found on Instagram as jcmilone. He allowed us to share his photography and a bit about himself here. We normally focus on Star Wars photography, but Joe's wider variety of pop culture subject matter is sure to appeal to our readers!

My Name is Joe Milone. I am from New York, but have been residing in Florida for the last decade. Originally I started my Instagram on a whim in March of 2013, with no real direction; more than likely it would have been a combination of my cats and other assorted daily activities. But when I posted a (really bad) photo of Cobra Commander, it led me to other toy photographers’ pages, and a new hobby was born. I've always been a collector, but this was a great way to put my collection to use. I started with my cell phone, quickly graduated to a DSLR, and I haven't looked back since. I shoot a mixture of indoor and outdoor photography, and my subjects include Masters of the Universe, comic characters, and Star Wars amongst others. I try to capture as much as I can in camera, including practical effects. Then I use Photoshop for minor edits and tweaks.
