Action Figure Photography #7:  bear__trap - Dave Towery

Dave Towery can be found on Instagram as bear__trap. He was kind enough to share his thoughts and images with Banthaskull.com.

When I first started photography, I was usually more focused on the figure itself, leaving the environment as just a background playing almost no importance. As I continued learning this hobby, my style slowly changed, eventually having the environment play a part just as important as the figure itself. Whenever I go shooting I'm more focused on finding the right scene, then deciding which figure to place.

One of the aspects I love most about this type of photography is that each time I go shooting, I'm always learning more about the technical side of taking pictures, and learning more about myself and what kind of vision I'm trying to capture.
