We at Bantha Skull fear social media, as it is the natural enemy of those who passed 40 some time ago. But we set aside our fears recently and joined Instagram. We hoped to bypass cat pictures, political memes, and people showing off their food, and just get straight to what we love most. So we found Star Wars-themed cat pictures, Star Wars memes, and Star Wars figures showing of their food.
But, as awesome as all that is, we've stumbled upon something that has given us a whole new way to view our beloved toys. There are many folks out there that have taken their love of Star Wars collecting and merged it with incredible photography talent. Many display their artwork on Instagram, and we're completely taken by what we've seen. Over the coming days, we are going to feature the work of just a handful of talented photographers on Instagram. You will see a mix of styles, and the subjects will be from across the saga and of various scales and toy lines. Many of these folks also use non-Star Wars toys in their work. This week, we'll give you an opportunity to see some of their work. A few have given us an exclusive look at some images that they have not yet made public.
So stay tuned, and be ready to wipe up the drool, because you're going to be jealous!
