A Bantha Skull Prediction Has Unfortunately Come True

In April before the Vintage Collection launch, we predicted that the wave 1 Jyn Erso figure was a terrible selection for a repack in the launch wave. It was a bold prediction, Cotton. My normal retail circle is entirely Walmart stores (due to proximity) when I don't have reason to toy hunt, which basically describes the situation since Force Friday. Since Walmart stores have largely ignored the Vintage Collection to this point, I had little empirical data to back up that prediction. The recent Target resets have given me reason to expand my search radius, and well, unfortunately, my worries were real:



This particular Target store has two pegs for the Vintage Collection. Each peg accommodates 8 figures (7 comfortably) meaning that nearly half of this store's Vintage Collection showroom footprint is taken up by Jyn Erso figures. To put it another way, I can cross this store off my toy hunting rounds.
