Why Bantha Skull Urges You To Vote Weequay From The Vault

The "Vote from the Vault" campaign is a great thing for the community. The "Fan Channel" waves are not meant for established collectors. The Vote from the Vault campaign is. We get to bring back a needed figure into the line. There are five choices:



Look at the categories for a moment. There are two Jedi (one human and one humanoid), two troopers and one secondary alien. There is currently some consternation in the fanbase about the lack of aliens in the line (at least non-Jedi ones). For the most part, The Vintage Collection has been reduced to main humans, Jedi and troopers. Voting a Jedi or a trooper from the Vault would reinforce that pattern.

Regarding Ahsoka, I know the current $500 secondary market price tag on VC102 makes that a tempting selection, but there is already a season 7 Ahsoka confirmed for later this year. It would be insanity to think that an Ahsoka from The Mandalorian isn't in the plans already. Voting this way here could run the risk of the line further being reduced to just Ahsokas, Mandalorians, Grogus and troopers.

Secondary aliens are the absolute soul of the vintage Kenner line and thus, The Vintage Collection. Voting Weequay from the Vault sends a powerful message that we want the line to honor its roots. It would open the door for the additional world-building characters that are needed to provide the depth that TVC is currently sorely lacking.
