The community has been buzzing since Mr. Stevie was one of the people responsible for resurrecting our beloved Vintage Collection, which, in turn, resurrected this site. Plus, I heard he was instrumental in bringing some Sail Barge thing to market, whatever that is. Steve has reliably been one of Hasbro's most accessible employees via his social media accounts, which is another reason fans are excited. He gives a very communal vibe for the relationship between Hasbro and the fans. It gives us a "we" feel. I will never forget when Steve used THIS IMAGE we made in the brand team's 2018 SDCC Presentation. I was beaming. I encourage you to check out his YouTube channel HERE. Steve's Tall Toy Tales series is thoroughly enjoyable. Welcome back, Mr. Stevie. Let's get to work!
But we need to remember that when someone rotates in, someone else rotates out. I have to assume that this means that Vickie Stratford will be leaving them team, but we won't know for sure until we get some sort of official announcement. If Vickie is leaving the team, I hope you all join me in wishing her success in her future endeavors, and thanking her for her contributions to the Star Wars brand at Hasbro. She has had several stints on the Star Wars team including serving as the Design Lead from 2009 - 2011, one of line's golden eras. Vickie wasn't as customer facing as others on the team by choice, often letting subordinates enjoy the spotlight, so the community probably doesn't know her as well, but we all owe her a debt of gratitude (again, assuming she's moving off the team).
As for Mr. Stevie coming back, I can't wait for a return of his patented enthusiasm. I look forward to his first livestream.
