Website Update:  The Man Cave Cometh

You may have been noticing a conspicuous lack of photo reviews here at Bantha Skull recently. There's a good reason for that. Like 90% of the American population, both Mr. Nomadscout and I made the courageous decision to move during the ongoing pandemic. I think there is a uniquely American "the grass is always greener" mindset. In my case, I was right. The Granite State is heaven. Also in my case, I moved from a house that had a "man cave" to one that doesn't. That "man cave" (i.e. finished basement) was my "Star Wars room". When we moved to our new house, I lost that space. It's made making photo galleries challenging. I've literally spent more time looking through bins for the complimentary figures, accessories, or vehicles than I've spent photographing the subject. Don't ever move. It's stupid.

Now that the dust has settled from the move, and our finances have recovered somewhat, we are staring the process to finish our new basement. THE STAR WARS ROOM WILL BE REBORN. It will be epic, and I can't wait, but an unfortunate side affect is that I've had to break down my photo studio. I am unable to photograph anything until the process concludes, which is hopefully some time around the beginning of March. Stress hopefully. Once completed, my photo studio will be in "living space" and I can't wait. I will also have my collection better organized and displayed, which will make finding figures needed for diorama photos so much easier.

The better news is that Mr. Nomadscout is poised to make his triumphant return to Bantha Skull. His photo studio is ready to go, for the most part. Apparently he only needs to acquire Cobra's Weather Dominator in order to return to the content creator game. It should only be another one to twenty four months until he's ready. I can't wait. This past year has been the longest decade of my life. Plus Mr. Nomad takes better photographs than I do, but don't worry, I will still be creating content via cheeky articles. Plus the front page is long overdue for an update. Once completed, you'll hate it, but grow to love it.
