We're back with more pics from the Red Five Toys Vintage Collection HasLab LAAT/i Gunship event. On Tuesday, you saw the pics that I took HERE. Today, we have the pics from John Miko of the Star Wars The Vintage Collection Facebook group and Tyler from the SWTVC Instagram page. I wanted to highlight these pictures because they captured some things that I missed.
The first photos better capture the differences between the existing Gunship and the new HasLab Gunship. You can really see what a massive upgrade the 2025 ball turrets are over the ones that first came in the 2008 Battle Pack. Then there are comparisons between the old rocket launchers and the new one. Not only does it show off the difference in scale, but also detail. Then there's just some more pics of the base Petranaki arena set-up, but the conclusion of the gallery is something I really wanted to highlight. The Gunship is ubiquitous throughout the Fall of the Jedi era and even into the Reign of the Empire. One of my favorite Easter eggs in Jedi Fallen Order was swimming through the hull of a LAAT on Kashyyyk. The conclusion of the gallery shows the HasLab Gunship represented with figures through many different eras. Even if you're not a fan of Attack of the Clones, there are numerous alternate display options.
Finally, we should talk about the campaign a bit. As of the time of this writing (which is 8PM ET on Thursday night), it sits at 4495 backers. I think we can safely assume that we'll head into the critical final three days (starting at midnight tonight) with at least 4600 backers based on recent trends. My ability to jinx HasLab campaigns recently has been downright uncanny. So I'm a little worried to say this, but the Gunship should back assuming the backer trajectory has the normal upward curve through the weekend. It will be close, but I think it makes it (which is going to make it a truly low production Star Wars vehicle). I know some of you reading this are waiting until the last minute to back, perhaps to maximize a combined Plus subscription, but I urge you to reconsider. The Pulse website reportedly suffered some issues in the waning hours of the Snowcat campaign, and some fans were unable to back. Give yourself time to mitigate any technical issues. I would back now instead of waiting until the last minute.
