Today Hasbro revealed 3 TVC items along with some news, and some acknowledgment of the TVC Petition...
1. Chirrut Îmwe basic figure. This was leaked previously, but still a welcome addition to the line. With K-2SO coming as well, that leaves Baze Malbus and Bodhi Rook to round out the Rogue One crew. The figure comes with soft goods and also ROCKER ANKLES!
2. Carbon Freeze Chamber Set - Modular, like the Jabba's Adventure Set, can be expanded. Getting two sets put together gives you most of the entire set. The stairs and circular base will allow for mood lighting for some awesome display and photography potential. The figure included is an ESB carded Stormtrooper. This appears to be the VC143 Han in Stormtrooper disguise, with what we can only hope is a non-removable helmet .* (Thanks to the commenters below that corrected my original statement that it was a VC140 stormtrooper.)
3. Princess Leia (Bespin Escape) - Another long awaited figure. The old POTJ figure is woefully outdated, and we were in desperate need for a new figure. Hasbro showed a digital mockup of the figure, as they don't yet have a physical sample, as it's due for release in 2021, and production of the figure has not progressed to that point yet. If the imagery is any indication, it looks to be an awesome figure.
*It is our guess that the Stormtrooper included inside the Carbon set will eventually be released as a basic figure, but we have no confirmation of that.
Here's the big news:
There will be a TVC HasLab coming later this year! There was no official announcement of the product itself, but we now have a heads up that something is definitely coming this year, so to echo the words of Patrick duding the livestream: Start saving!
As for the Q&A:
Hasbro acknowledged the TVC movement, the petition, and the #FightForTVC / #Save375 / #BackTVC hashtags. They wanted to let fans know that the impact of the movement is real, and has given Hasbro some vital new information on the demand for TVC product. They temper expectations by saying that (1) we can never expect a return to the level of product that released 10 years ago, as no product line is at that state today, (2) there won't be an immediate change [Hasbro is a large international company that plans items years in advance] but it seems clear that a change for the better is in the works.
