The playsets first introduced us to the "box in a box" concept were packaged figures are included. This means numbered individually carded Vintage Collection figures are inside the box. This concept has been ported to vehicles for the first time with Antoc Merrick's X-Wing. In previous cases where figures were included with vehicles, they weren't carded. Most recently, the TIE Fighter Pilot included with the Vintage Collection Imperial TIE Fighter was packed in a baggie. Now that "box in a box" has been introduced to the vehicle lineup, the pattern could be repeated to bring us another character debut in TVC.
Please note that I put "could" in italics. I want to make sure I appropriately set expectations. What will be discussed below is likely impractical, and the chances of it seeing the light of day are probably zero. But it would be neat.
The Vintage Collection TIE Interceptor is a vehicle that probably deserves a re-release. Sealed samples currently sell for $200 or more on the secondary market. If Hasbro ever did re-releases it, there's a far more compelling pilot than the standard TIE Fighter Pilot:

The Second Sister (Trilla Suduri) from Jedi Fallen Order
As you may recall, the Second Sister is one of my personal most wanted figures. Her vehicle of choice is none other than the TIE/IN interceptor, but the potential of such a pilot and vehicle combo is probably a pipe dream. Hasbro has repeatedly said that newly tooled figures have to go into main line. They won't be used as pack-ins or in subset lines such as Gaming Greats. I was hoping that some of the tooling from the Zori Bliss figure could be reused for a Second Sister, but the sculpted holster strap on the right thigh seems to burst that balloon. An Imperial Inquisitor needs modern "Jedi Level Articulation", so using parts from an older figure such as Bastila Shan wouldn't work for me personally.
Having said that, Hasbro can be very creative with tooling reuse.
If, by some miracle, Hasbro could work their magic and deliver us a Gaming Greats TIE Interceptor with a Second Sister pack-in figure, it would be a perfect mic drop moment for a livestream.
