Six Inches of Fun

Chris sent this image during a trip to Best Buy for batteries for his hearing aid. He found the Sixer Revan on clearance for $11.99. You read that right. Darth Revan is on clearance at Best Buy. In fact, you could take your chances online at BB.com with their weird “blind box” ordering system for only $9.99.

It’s really not that incredible if you think about it. Darth Revan is a niche character. Overly large 6” figures are best served with main characters and some common troopers so collectors can set up a shelf or two of their favorites. As popular as KOTOR was, Revan just isn’t iconic enough of a character to translate to big sales in this scale.

Yeah, this is just one isolated incident, but even Hasbro’s flawed plan to do a straight re-issue of the underarticulated TAC Revan from 2007 in TVC this year is a better idea than a 6” Revan.
