SDCC ‘19:  Sith Trooper-Palooza

It seems that Disney / Lucasfilm are all in on the Sith Trooper from The Rise of Skywalker. Multiple companies will be offering Sith Trooper themed merchandise at SDCC next week. This guy is the new Zuvio! Well, probably not. We have no idea how prominent a role these troopers will play in the film. They could have a brief appearance, or the could be a major part of the story. Whatever happens with the final cut of the film, we know that it will likely be the posterboy for TROS in the coming months.

Meanwhile, just about everyone is getting into the fray - except the Vintage Collection...for now. That may be just temporary, as there are strong rumors that a TVC Sith Trooper is actually on the way. Maybe it will be revealed at SDCC itself, or perhaps saved for a later date. But until then, TVC collectors are getting iced out of the celebration. It's certainly still early, though.
