Hasbro will be conducting a panel at the CCXP comic con in Brazil later today, and it promises to have Star Wars reveals. But will it be Vintage Collection? That's difficult to say. The only representative from the Star Wars brand team is Eric, who is the lead designer on Black Series. Does that mean all the reveals will be Black Series? Not necessarily. We're seen cross-team reveals before. I vaguely recall Emily revealing a Black Series item in the past. While the fans see the two lines as completely separate, and incompatible worlds, I'm sure Hasbro views it as one big umbrella.
So, if we do get something from TVC, what could it be? Last year, Fan Channel Wave 1 was the second reveal of the year. Let assume that pattern holds. The is the makeup of Fan Channel wave one from last year:
As you can see, these fan channel waves have been light on 100% newly tooled figures, and heavy on repacks and repaints. While Google AI says that CCXP is "the largest pop-culture festival in the world", I don't think that Hasbro would drop a big reveal at an event that is not widely known by their largest fan base in the US. So, if we get a Vintage Collection reveal, and if it's from 2026's first fan channel wave, I tend to suspect it will be from one of the repack slots. 2025 saw a heavy reemergence of Special Action figure sets which have often been used as "prepacks" for single carded releases. We already got a repack of the Emperor's Wrath Vader from the Journey of Anakin Skywalker 3-pack in 2026 main line wave 1 as one example. Here are the 2025 Special Action Figure figures that I could see as viable for single carded releases:
Anakin Skywalker (Episode III)
Sandtrooper
Snowtrooper Commander
Anakin Skywalker (Episode VI - Sebastian Shaw likeness)
Spirit Ben Kenobi (Episode VI)
Episode III Anakin is too main line viable to be released in a Fan Channel wave. So if my theory holds, we may get a reveal of one of the final four figures. I ruled out Spirit Yoda because I feel that would be a tough sell at the current price point, but who knows. I also ruled out the Biker Scout because I will riot if we get another carded release of that figure will the ancient arms from the aughts.
Mr. Stevie will be posting the reveals to his Instagram account (which can be found HERE) once the panel concludes.
In other news, our friend Tim from Bossk's Bounty has arranged a livestream with the Hasbro brand team this evening at 5PM ET. I am honored to be guest on the stream together with Mr. Miko. Hopefully today's reveal (if there is one) will be one of the talking point. Also, since we have the three Last Figure Standing principals on the stream, I bet that will become a talking point. If you would like to bookmark the stream directly, you can do so HERE, but also here's one of them handy embeds below (reminder 5PM ET tonight):
