March Madness is upon us, so it's time to publish the results of my completed bracket (see image at the end of the article). Once again, our friends from the @SWTVC Instagram Page have organized the event. You can download all the assets you need to complete your own bracket from their Linktree HERE.
My bracket is a little less diversified than it has been in the past. It's almost exclusively OT with Ki-Adi-Mundi being the lone exception to make it to the Elite Eight. This is a byproduct of the rising prices. I'm no longer interested in buying novelties and curiosities. If I'm going to plunk down $17 for a figure, it simply must further my displays in which I've already invested thousands of dollars. I'm not going to part with my hard-earned cash to create sparse displays of the Disney+ Flavor of the Month, but this is an article for another day.
Once again, the fun of a bracket comes from the difficult choices you're forced into with the matchups. It had me wracking my brain for a Kobayashi Maru solution to cheat the format. I died a little inside having to advance Pong Krell to the round of 32 while Princess Leia (Ewok Village) was a one and done like the Patriot League's annual sacrificial lamb in the real March Madness. Go Holy Cross! I have no idea if they're even going to make the NCAA Tournament, but I figured I'd give them a shoutout anyway. Once you get to my Elite Eight, things get much more accurate:

And of course my winner is:
I do agree that the best Episode IV Leia we have isn't as good as the best Episode IV Luke, so the argument could be made that she's the more pressing need, but Luke is ultimately key to many more scenes, so he get the nod from me. They're really 1A and 1B, though.
