Yesterday, we put forth the argument that the abysmal performance (based on our observations) of the TBS Bespin Escape Leia indicates that Hasbro doesn't fully appreciate the nature of the two scales. The 6" scale is a figural line. It's suited to a character focused collection. Vehicles, companion pieces, costume variations and many environmental pieces are not the focus for the average casual collector. It prompted to us call for a release of a Vintage Collection Bespin Escape Leia via the exact same channel (as a Target exclusive) to unequivocally prove which scale supports the more esoteric product offerings. The $4 million+ of Barge sales ended the vehicle debate permanently (2015's TBS TIE Fighter can sill be found at discount chains TODAY!).
Well, on the way back from the optometrist to pick up my bifocals (this isn't a joke, I wear bifocals now, sonny), wouldn't you know it, more of that pesky anecdotal evidence of our assertion dropped in my lap. This is in "metrowest" Massachusetts which a region between the two most populous cities in New England (Boston and Worcester). This is not a low population density area by any stretch of the imagination:
