LEGO Has Announced A UCS Republic Gunship - Nudge, Cough, Hint, Hint

This past Thursday, the Official Site exclusively revealed the LEGO UCS Republic Gunship. These iconic Prequel Trilogy ship was a recent LEGO fan vote with over 30,000 votes. The set consists of 3,292. The completed model is 27" long, 29" wide and 13" high. Approximating a price using the cost per brick method. the set will likely fall somewhere between $350 and $450, and fans will gobble it up.

Good gracious, that's something. Meanwhile, let's check a recent sale of the Vintage Collection Republic Gunship:

Say, since there is clearly deep pocketed demand for the Republic Gunship, and the Vintage Collection version fetches upwards of seven hundred dank farrik dollars (!!!!!!), shouldn't someone re-issue that vehicle? Not you, Scotty. Not you, Number Two. Not you, Frau. Not you, Goldmember. Not you guys back there. Not you, henchman holding wrench. Not you henchman, arbitrarily turning knobs, making it seem like you're doing something.

If the Galaxy's Edge Millennium Falcon can find a retail partner home, someone has to be able to step up to the plate for the Vintage Collection Republic Gunship.

Finally, I know the real quote in Goldmember, is "Oh, this is uncomfortable," but I feel "Boy, this is awkward," works better.
