Something struck me when I was looking at the official images of the upcoming Vintage Collection K-2SO figure. We often think articulation is what separates the Vintage Collection from the former 3.75" child-targeted lines, but that's only half the story. The Vintage Collection also blows away the economical lines in terms of the amount and quality of the paint operations, and I think the TVC K-2SO figure shows that quite dramatically. If you click the image above, you can see a side by side comparison with the 5POA (5 point of articulation) "Solo" line K-2SO.
I think the comparison is striking. It really shows how one line is a "toy" and the other line is an "adult collectible" masquerading as a toy.
