Volker from the German Star Wars site Star Wars Figuren is getting some AMAZING shots of Hasbro's Jabba's Palace diorama, but, it's all for the 6" scale.
Jabba's droid dungeon is one of my most wanted world building environments period, but only in the 3.75" scale where it is realistic. Seeing it done up for the 6" scale is like a punch to the gut, but I'm not sure that product is being shown. 8-D8's branding device and EV-9D9's data pad are clearly scaled up versions of the POTF2 accessories. Furthermore, the 8-D8 and EV-9D9 figures look to lack articulation. Perhaps Hasbro put their rapid prototyping 3D printers to use to flesh out their SDCC 6" Jabba's Palace diorama.
Update: I needs to make a clarification because in my haste to keep up with the news I wasn't very clear. The "gut punch" is not about the diorama itself. I understand that's not a product. It's about seeing two of my highly wanted figures (EV-9D9 and 8-D8) in this scale as well as the courier droid torture device. I want all of those things for my 3.75" Jabba's Palace display.
