Hasbro Star Wars SDCC Panel Later Today

Okay, we're going to write this one in reverse. Usually on livestream days, the top of the article is for speculation on what will be shown, and we close by asking you to come back later that day to watch an embed of the livestream with us. Today we're flipping the script. You will note that the image above says that the Fanstream will be at 6PM ET tonight. I'm fairly certain that the actual SDCC panel is taking place at 5PM ET. I assume Hasbro will record that and then publish it an hour later. Unfortunately by that time, the internet will have spoiled all of the content. Curse that darned internet. The good news is that the Imperial Communique will be streaming the presentation on his YouTube channel. We will be embedding that stream here at 5PM ET tonight. So come back then and look for an entry with this image:

First of all, SDCC '25 is already starting off as a banger with yesterday's reveal of the Jedi Spirits 3-pack which includes a swappable Sebastian Shaw likeness for the Anakin figure:


We also know that the next Vintage Collection HasLab will be revealed. The display case for this soon-to-be revealed item is already on the showroom floor. Mr. Stevie posted this pic of the case and invited us to speculate:


I can't find it now, but Steve also dropped a clue that was along the lines of "look to the skies" indicating we're probably looking at flying vehicle off some sort. Most have connected this clue with the sand to speculate that the HasLab is a new LAAT/i Gunship. The one thing I question is the sand. Isn't the Geonosian sand red? Could that sand be meant to represent the beaches of Scariff? For what it's worth, Jayson from Yak Face seems to be leaning toward the Gunship camp, and when it comes to Hasbro Star Wars, if he said the color of the sky over their Pawtucket, RI offices was green, I'd believe him.

Between the HasLab and the previously announced Jedi Spirits 3-pack, I feel like were already playing with house money heading in the the panel. We'll assuredly finally see a reveal of the long pipelined Han Solo and Chewbacca. These figures, along with a fifth heretofore unknown figure, are part of the Ben Kenobi/Stormtrooper case which went up for sale a while ago. To the best of my limited knowledge, that represents the rest of the 2025 product, and thus brings to a close the incredible Return to Tatooine product beat. Maybe I will be shocked by one more RtT product that has flown under my radar, but I'm not holding my breath. I think it's a wrap, so that means the other thing we can hope to learn tonight is what next year's theme will be.
