I've been looking forward to this day for a long time. It feels like it's taken forever to get here. Finally I can watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Giants on Amazon Prime tonight in a classic NFC East showdown. Amazon Prime really is one of the best values in streaming especially when you consider all the other benefits of a Prime membership. Can you believe that many sites have resorted to sponsored content to increase revenue? We would never do that. I guess that makes Bantha Skull the Amazon Prime of Star Wars fan sites.
Oh, Hasbro is also conducting their New York Comic Con later this morning. The actual panel presentation is at 11 AM ET this morning. That is not being broadcast by Hasbro themselves. If we can find a YouTube account that is live streaming the event, we will embed it here (but I'm not holding my breath). If we can't find someone streaming the actual panel, don't worry. As with SDCC, Hasbro will conducting a prerecorded "fanstream" at noon ET which will recap the panel. We will definitely be embedding that one. Just come back and look for a post with this image:
You will notice that this is a split "fanstream". It's for both Star Wars and Marvel, and it's only an hour long. So I think that tips the hand that this event will be short on reveals. We will assuredly get a re-reveal of the Jedi Spirits 3-pack which should be going up for order on Pulse soon (today? <-- I'm genuinely asking). I guess The Black Series should get some time in the limelight. So that leaves very little time for much else. If I had one hope, it would be that we find out what's in that presumed Cantina 4-pack. One figure we all assume is in that set is firmly in the Top 12 of this year's Last Figure Standing. If it is indeed coming, I would really like to bump it from the top 12 so a different unmade figure can joint the fight.
So what are you expecting? You know where to let us know:
