Hasbro Star Wars Brand Team SDCC Panel Later Today

Today is the 2024 Hasbro San Diego Comic Con Star Wars brand panel at 5PM ET. As you are probably aware, these convention panels are not typically live streamed by Hasbro themselves, but don’t worry. The Imperial Communique will be live streaming it on his YouTube channel. You can bookmark the stream HERE, and we will also embed it in a post later today.

As for what we hope to see today, I think we need to set our expectations low for the actual reveals. There’s not much product left for 2024 to be shown, and what remains isn’t very exciting for the most part. We we have the ”new head” grand Admiral Thrawn from the Ahsoka series, Asoka Tano (Peridia), and the Jedi survivor Jet Trooper. For main line, there isn’t much newness that can be revealed. Outside of main line, however, there are a couple exciting items that has could be shown today. We have the hugely anticipated Blurgg, and the deluxe Cobb Vanth. I think both of those have a high potential of being part of today's presentation.


If we're going to be wowed today, I suspect that it will have to come from the pipelines. Hasbro previously said that the SDCC presentation will be taking a break from the #ReturnToTatooine theme which dominated their last two presentations. Any more #ReturnToTatooine reveals will probably be saved for Hasbro Pulsecon in September. For today's pipelines, I'm hoping for a pair discount Sith.
