#FightForTVC:  Now Is Not The Time To Quit.  It’s Time To Get Loud.

Today is yet another rallying point for the growing movement to #FightForTVC!

Hasbro's retail partners revealed several items in the Black Series line. We don't follow TBS6 news very closely, so it may be that most or all of these figures were already announced or heavily rumored and we're just getting a look at packaged samples. But the string of reveals comes alongside the notable absence of any TVC news. Just based on the input we've already gotten through emails, texts, DM's, comments, and forum posts, it's safe to say that many TVC collectors are fuming, or worse, pushed to complete apathy.

However, we need to continue to focus our passions for 3.75" collecting on the task at hand. The community petition is moving towards 6000 signatures. There's plenty of opinions out there as to what number would be enough to compel Hasbro to respond positively to the stated goal of the petition. We are quite comfortable the movement is on Hasbro's radar, and that every signature that is added to the current tally will help us achieve the goal.

Today, the TVC community got a huge shot in the arm when long-time heavyweight Rebelscum joined the ranks of supporters by promoting the petition on their site.

So how does today's TBS / no TVC reveals affect the movement? First and foremost, this should not in anyway indicate the success or failure of the campaign. Hasbro is a battleship, in that it doesn't turn on a dime. The #FightForTVC / # BackTVC / #Save375 movement has only been going on for a few weeks, and the petition itself is a mere 9 days old. Today's TBS reveals have no doubt been in the works for a while (as was the decision to continue to hold back any TVC news), and has nothing to do with the petition. So do not take this as an indication that we need to give up and jump ship.

If anything, this is just another wake up call for frustrated collectors. This is not the time to quit. This is the time to get even louder! Hasbro must know that every time they have one of these reveal events, the minuscule (or complete lack of) TVC news is only going to further damage their relationship with long-time 3.75" collectors.

While we continue to push forward in the #FightForTVC, we want Hasbro to know that it is in the best interest of the health of the 3.75" line for them to push out their TVC reveals and make an exciting splash ASAP. Time is running out for some collectors that are already barely hanging on by a thread, and Hasbro is losing the opportunity to take their money.

Hasbro: The TVC community needs positive news, and we need it yesterday!

So again, share the hashtags every time you post on social media. Do your best to reach people you know that are outside the hardcore collecting echo chamber. And if you haven't already done so, SIGN THE PETITION!
