Geonosis 2 - Droid Factory Chase

Description:

In order to mount a rescue of Obi-Wan on Geonosis, Anakin, Padmé and the droids arrive from Tatooine and enter the Stalgasin Hive. After startling the sleeping Geonosians into action, they flee into a worse situation as they discover a massive battle droid foundry.

Padmè and Anakin decide to save Obi-Wan by sneaking into a random door, which leads down a long, dark, scary tunnel. No good will come of this.
News Photo
Padmè seems to be behaving uncharacteristically, as she flees in terror from the bug people. She was pretty bad ass during most of TPM and AOTC, but here, it was a weak showing.
News Photo
Watch that last step! It's a lulu!
News Photo
It's like Fruit Ninja, but with bugs!
News Photo
One of the few times we actually see a Geonosian fire off their weird blaster.

This scene was better in Galaxy Quest when Sigourney Weaver dropped a legendary F-Bomb
News Photo
I never understood why Artoo tried to kill Threepio.
News Photo
Welp, no time for that ninny. Gotta save Padmé!
News Photo
Anakin is pretty clumsy for a Jedi.

The C-3PO hilarity is in full swing...
News Photo
...and the laugh riot continues.
News Photo
Padmé was briefly saved by R2-D2, only to be surrounded by a bunch of bug people.
News Photo
Not to be outdone, Anakin is nabbed by a squad of Droidekas and Jango Fett himself.

Notes:
1.  This Padmé from the 2008 TLC "Amidala Legacy" Evolutions set was also repacked in the TLC basic line as BD35 in 2009. This scene is also where the Flying Geonosian with Pod comes in handy.
2.  Anakin from the Black Series line is an outstanding figure. Here, he can use his laser fly swatter to dispatch any number of Geonosian figures you have lying around.
3.  The back of the Arena Playset has a retractable bridge, which seems to be intended for this moment.
4.  The super gross 3-piece Geonosian Warrior works perfectly for when Anakin is slicing his way through the factory.
5.  There are several good Geonosian Warrior figures. This one is from the Geonosian Arena Showdown 2-pack with Kit Fisto.
6.  The various pieces of the droid assembly line work pretty nicely for the factory. You can make a nice long assembly line, including the small "stand" that comes with the otherwise inferior Saga 03-04 Padmé Amidala (Droid Factory Chase) figure.
7.  C-3PO and R2-D2 from their Geonosis Arena Showdown 2-pack can't be beat for this...
8.  ...although you will need a good R2 with jets to pull off this scene. The TLJ basic figure is the best one available.
9.  It's not quite accurate to the film, but there is a piece on the assembly line that mimics the moment Anakin got stuck.
10.  Again, the C-3PO from the 2-pack is great. However, if you want the machinery claw to actually hold the droid head, you'd need to sub in the magnetic Battle Droid head from the Saga deluxe set.
11.  And here you're stuck using the C-3PO head and Battle Droid body from the previously mentioned Saga Deluxe set.
12.  Take your pick of Geonosian figures. The ones from the Arena 2-packs work great, as do several others.
13.  Lots of good Droidekas to choose from. The ones from the Arena 2-packs are excellent, as is the TAC version (minus the shield). Also you can use the Fett Legacy Jango, or the more purple Arena 2-pack figure.

The Missing:
These are characters that belong in this scene for which Hasbro has never made a figure. These characters are all featured in our Unproduced Character Guide which we have affectionately nicknamed Missing In Action Figure or M.I.A.F. for short. Clicking through on the following entries will bring you to the M.I.A.F. entry for that character.

Scene Complete
To the best of the knowledge of the staff at Bantha Skull, all of the characters from this scene have been made as action figures! There are no missing characters. However, in the opinion of the staff, one or more of the figures needs to be updated or resculpted.
