We’re ready for round two of the Missing In Action Figures feature.  This time we tackled another wildly popular subset:  the cantina patrons.  Before getting down to business, we need to throw out some caveats.  First, this is not a comprehensive list.  We decided internally that we either had to be able to identify the character on film OR be familiar with the character from other sources.  So characters like the fourth spaceman are not on the list.  Second, we think that a Sai’torr Kal Fas figure would be identical to the Hrchek Kal Fas figure we already have, so she’s not on the list.  As always, the rankings are subjective.  Let us know what you think.  If you make a good argument, maybe we’ll change the points. 

Also, we get the impression that we should Expand our search for unmade characters.  If you think there is a particularly good source, please contact us.  Otherwise, I’m going to advocate for the Thrawn Trilogy.

This past Saturday, I stopped into a Toys R Us.  What I saw doesn’t exactly bode well for the 3.75” Black Series line.  Details after the jump.

So….we’ve posted this before.  We’re not gratuitously trying to spotlight a feature twice, nor are we trying to fill airtime with repeats.  However, if you’ve read the comment section of the Skiff Guards Missing In Action Figure feature, you likely know what our next Missing In Action Figure subject will be (hint:  it rhymes with bantina).  We think the Build-A-Cantina concept helps set the context for that upcoming feature, so we wanted to gratuitously spotlight this feature twice.

The next Star Wars film will eschew CGI in favour of real locations and models wherever possible, according to Kathleen Kennedy, the film executive in charge of the sci-fi adventure.
