As first reported by forum member Darth Jbyrdd, Wal-Mart has slashed the price of all Star Wars figures to $4.50.  As usual, Wal-Mart’s pricing can be inconsistent from store to store so “your mileage may vary”.  Click the thumbnail below for the full pic.

If you’re a fan of ABC’s series Lost, then you already know it’s coming to an end this month. One of the most appealing things about the show has been the ever expanding web of mysteries, which almost every viewer has at least a vague theory about. If you’re one of those, and you would like to win a cool book, then please click the image to find out how!

By Darth Zirock (Age: 153)

Is it just me, or are 90-percent of the toy lines out there today unmitigated crappola? Were you frustrated with the results of the many miles you put on your car and the many gallons of gas you wasted while searching for the Toys R Us exclusive EU wave?  Were you frustrated at the selective enforcement of the street date?  Are you tired of being treated like some sort of social degenerate because you had the audacity to ask about the availability of a product?  You’re not alone.  Read Adam May’s Galactic Blogger entry on his epic, and ultimately fruitless, quest for the EU wave this past Saturday.  Adam also gives some advice on what the best course of action for venting your frustration is.

If you have frequented our forums at all, then you’ve probably seen an article or two from io9.com posted in there. And if you’ve seen an io9 article, most likely you’ve been really annoyed. One of their most recent posts was proving why Iron Man is better than fellow armored guy Darth Vader. Well, no longer content to just sit back and think the writers at that site are dumb, our members got together and compiled a rebuttal. Click the Strikes Back logo for more!

So reports are coming in that the TFU you packs are not as they were originally advertised.  Seems the shadow stormtrooper was nixed in favor of a second clear “invisible” stormtrooper.  We’re working to find out why this is, and we’ll let you know.

On the EU wave front, I personally have visited the Times Square Toys R Us flagship store 3 straight days, finally finding new figures today after two days of seeing just a handful of the repacks.  I was able to confirm at least 9 cases have been put out by this one store alone, a few each day.  I suspect there is more in the stock room that will continually be used to replenish the pegs for days to come.  Click the pic to head into our forums and find out more info about our lates finds.

Oh, and if you’re in the New York City area and plan on hitting this store, you’d better be there when the doors open at 10.  By 10:10, all the new figures were gone.
