Thanks to forum member DarthChuckMC for pointing out that Volkswagon returns to the Imperial March for it’s Super Bowl ad.

As reported by our friends at Jedi Temple Archives and our own moderator (and one man security force) BIGJIM, Hasbro has a Buy One Get One coupon available good for action figures up to $9.99 as part of their Annual Fun And Games Event.  Click through and you should see the coupon at the bottom of page 2.

The Toys R Us web site has most of the Phantom Menace wave in stock.  They’re going for $9.99 a piece but with free shipping for orders over $75.  Click here (or the lead in images above) to get must have figures like the new Darth Maul and Quilan Vos.

Once again our west coast based admin, Ruadh, spotted something new and didn’t think much of it.  At his LA area Walmart, he came across some Movie Heroes line items namely the basic figures,  Sith Infiltrator, both Pod Racers and the deluxe line items. Keep your eyes peeled.  Street dates are for chumps.

Dare I say that mercifully wave 10 comes to a close with the repacked Episode 1 Obi-Wan Kenobi figure?  Did Hasbro make a significant retool that will justify shelling out another $10 for this figure?  You’ll have to check out for yourself, but the answer is no.

Thanks to an update from Jedi Defender, the news seems to be official that the MSRP for the Vintage Collection will once again rise a dollar to $9.99.  The source is none other than the official Hasbro web site.

If you’ve been paying attention to the per case pre-order prices on e-tail sites, you’ve probably seen this handwriting on the wall.

Wave 10 (or wave 1 2012 if you prefer) includes two repacked figures.  Here is the first one, Qui-Gon Jinn.

The last new figure from 2012’s inaugural wave has been added to the photo archive.  Check out the “post-senate” Queen Amidala.

After only two years, the Battle Droid mold gets an update.  Is this figure worthy of the Vintage Collection and its premium price?  You’ll have to check that out for yourself.
