So one of the drags of being a collector in the Northeast (Massachusetts) is that we tend to be among the last region to get new items. But one of the perks is that I can sit on my butt and wait for the boys at JediTempleArchives and Yakface to tip me off when things start to hit, so I don’t waste a lot of time looking. Thanks to their tips, I checked my local Target at lunch today and voila. Two very helpful associates pulled these from the back room for me. Photo archive updates to follow soon.
If you haven’t seen it, Yakface.com has provided a decent outline of all the product that was announced during the New York Comic Con slideshow presentation. Their list organizes the product by category and wave. Click through to check it out.
Just a reminder that preview night for NYCC is tomorrow, and Bantha Skull will be there. Check back tomorrow afternoon from reports direct from the floor!
The once Target exclusive Geonosis Arena Showdown two packs are now available for pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store.
We have tabulated the votes and are ready to announce our ten nominees. Click through to see the names we will be sending off the Hasbro.
Our very own, but lazy, admin, Ruadh, found Ponda Baba, the Echo Base trooper and Bastila Shan at the Target in Lakewood, CA. Start hunting!
The 2009 Fans’ Choice figure, Bastila Shan, has been added to the photo archive. Click through to see if the Knights of the Old Republic favorite is a worthy purchase (it is).
The Rebel Soldier in Echo Base Battle Gear, which is also known as the deck officer or rebel officer, has been added to the photo archive. Click through to see if this much needed addition to your Hoth corps has been worth the wait.
Normally, we do the new figures in numeric order, but c’mon…WALRUS MAN. I had to skip 68 and 69 for a second and jumps straight to VC70 Ponda Baba.
The once Walmart exclusive Kit Fisto Starfighter and TIE Bomber are now available at Entertainment Earth. If you missed out on these, here’s a second chance.
If you were in on the early pre-orders of the much anticipated Ponda Baba case from Big Bad Toy Store, check your in-box. Emails are being received stating that the product has arrived and is being prepped to ship. This could also be an indication the brick and mortar isn’t too far behind!
Thanks to the fine work of the boys over at Jedi Temple Archives, we have been able to update the number of coming waves in our Photo Archive menu for Vintage Collection Basic Figures. The numbering is now accurate through the first three waves of 2012 and includes individual entries for the SDCC Death Star figures.

Bantha Skull dot com, Web site/Fanboys, searching for a way to tap into the hidden insight that all Hasbro knows. Then an accidental overdose of grammar radiation interacts with their unique Generation-X cynicism. And now, when Bantha Skull grows curious or inquisitive, a startling metamorphosis occurs.
They become momentarily sincere and ask some genuine questions of Hasbro.
