Vintage Vehicles Strike Back

From our recent DPCI reports we know vintage vehicles were coming back to Target with a vengeance.  There are not one, but two DPCI’s which are confirmed for vintage vechicles (087-06-1732 and 087-06-0269).  When BosskMR called to inform that the 2010 Vintage Collection vehicles were back and ringing up at the $24.99 price, I thought we had solved the mystery of one of the two DPCI’s, but no.

A third DPCI has entered the fray (maybe).  It is 087-06-1347 CW Starfighter Vehicle.  I assume this is the standard Starfighter class DPCI for the Shadows of the Dark Side packaging.  If I were smarter I would have confirmed that in store. 

When these vehicles were originally being sold, it was under DPCI 087-06-2252

Update with explanation: “The TIE/Snowspeeder were added to the CW midsize DPCI last year after Christmas just like the Hostage Crisis & Hidden Enemy BPs were added to the regular release BPs…that way, they avoid the fickle finger of clearance fate. If DCs still have cases of those around, they very well could end up in stores when they need to be replenished.”
