Brick and Mortar Update

As a follow up to yesterday's plea to Hasbro for help, Chris has confirmation from an associate at his local Target that while the TVC figures are not scanning at the public ports located throughout the store, the inventory PDA's do pick them up, and therefore will continue to be able to actually scan and sell at the register. This is fortunate, as it is relieving to hear that the inventory didn't somehow get caught up in some kind of non-sellable status (like a street date, etc.).

Even still, the UPC situation continue to baffle, and it remains to be seen how this may affect future ordering and availability of TVC at Target.

Walmart, on the other hand, is another story altogether...

In Walmart's case, Chris returned to a store that he was just at last night. At that time, he saw that there were two TVC figures (Jyn and Snoke) which had been there for months. They were on an unmarked peg - no tag or price whatsoever. Chris returned to this Walmart just this morning to try to scan the figures to see what came up. To his surprise, the aisle had been reset overnight. The two TVC figures were gone (unlikely they were sold), and instead, there are now 3 empty pegs with a SKU for the 3.75" Black Series, and a price fo $4.00.

What the...?

The two TVC figures that were there yesterday were on the lowest peg of two-packs, unmarked. That peg is now designated for a third row of 2 packs. TVC is nowhere to be seen.

Unless Walmart kept the old TBS SKU and transferred it to TVC and plans on putting the figures on immediate clearance, we have further evidence of clown shoe...
