HasLab Launch Delayed

I was literally in the midst of writing a HasLab primer article, when the Hasbro Pulse Instagram page dropped this post:

Here's the relevant part:

We know the anticipation is high for the upcoming Star Wars The Vintage Collection HasLab. While we initially planned to unveil it this week, we’re taking extra time to ensure it’s as spectacular as Star Wars fans expect. The reveal is pushed back, but fear not we promise it’s worth the wait. We’ll share more details soon, so keep your comlinks open and stay tuned!

This is a bummer for sure. I was literally scheduled to do a May the 4th Livestream with Victoria to discuss the HasLab. I even bought a May the 4th sweatshirt to wear. Hasbro, you own me $60!

So, this isn't all bad news. I personally have a lot of preorders in for product from the A New Hope wave. I suspect that could hit in June which would have presented the same "stacking" problem that we saw with the Ghost were a bunch of preorders came in right as we were charged for the HasLab. I know this caused some people to cancel their Jabba's Court Denizens 4-packs and Boba Fett's Throne Room.

Hopefully this delay helps us spread things out a bit, and it gives us all more time to save up. Even if you ultimately don't want the HasLab, there is no down side in saving up the money just in case. If it ends up being a pass, you'll have a nice nest egg to get some items that you do want.
