Disney is planning on starting its own streaming service. What does this mean for Netflix?
Today we look at 5 silly things that have been introduced into Star Wars over the years that we hope Disney can fix. We feel that some minor tweaks to the films can yield some big results for the Saga.
My God, it’s full of pegs. Friends, the Long Night is over. The Night King has been slain. The thousand generation winter is over and Apollo has lifted his skirt. Could this be considered clickbait? YUP. Am I exaggerating? NOPE! It’s even better than you think (if you are collectors like us who stink of good 3.75” cheer).
We would like to formally announce that we here at Bantha Skull have mastered time travel. First, let me assuage your fears that we will abuse this power. We will only use if for good. In fact, our only time travel act will be to undo those four consecutive championships the Cleveland Browns recently won because of the damage it did to our national psyche. Mazel tov! You’ve made it to the third and final part of our series. We wrap up our speculation on the “new rules” of Star Wars, and take a look at what may be the most controversial of the bunch.
Do you remember when our own nomadscout asked “Where the heck is Bistan?” Well apparently Hasbro got the message and couldn’t stand the blistering heat he brought. Bistan and the Scarif Shore Trooper are now available for pre-order on Entertainment Earth. Oh, and some cat named Fenn Rau is available for pre-order? Ever heard of him? Both are estimated for December delivery.

Thank you to our friends at Jedi Temple Archives for bringing this to our attention. They remembered nomad’s unnatural affinity for Bistan.
All I can say is, “Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.” Hasbro just sent out a press release updating the list of VIP All-Star guests who will be attending HASCON this September. Click through for the press release. Sorry, Maz, but THIS just happened.
Wow! I know some of the Target clearances dipped lower than this price, but the odds of finding one in store were only slightly better than finding Boardwalk in the McDonald’s Monopoly game (or was it Park Place?). Here all you have to do is click a couple of buttons and you can secure nomad’s most favorite thing ever for just $99 plus $4 shipping from site sponsor Big Bad Toy Store.
This isn’t what you think. This is not a love affair with the new media. Truth be told, I don’t like The Force Awakens, but that’s just my personal opinion. This isn’t tongue-in-cheek either. It’s my legitimate take. I am looking at the wall and I see Kathleen Kennedy standing on it, and I have to tell you I am very thankful she is there. The enemy she is saving us from is not the one you think. Hit the jump for the rest of the Paul Harvey story.
Even though Forces of Destiny are not my personal collecting bag, there’s something about walking into a store and seeing a pristine Star Wars display that brings a smile to my face. Click through for pics of the display.
There’s been a lot of back on forth about Captain Rex’s role in The Saga. The issue has once again surfaced, and has become more…nuanced…

For as long as I have been in this hobby, which is exactly how long this hobby has existed, scalpers have been the villain. But do we have it wrong? Could scalpers actually be good for the hobby? Did you raise your voice in an extremely puzzled fashion at the end of that question? No? Well, you were supposed to. Here, I’ll give you a second chance. Could scalpers actually be good for the hobby? Hit the jump for yet another hot Bantha take (yeah, I don’t like the sound of that either).
In Part One of our story, we discussed Adam Driver’s comment that Rian Johnson has “new rules” for Star Wars. We are theorizing that we may see three somewhat obscure aspects of Star Wars feature prominently in The Last Jedi. Click through for Part Two of our discussion…
