As mentioned below in the post below, the Rebels TV series is heavily inspired by the art work of Ralph McQuarrie. In honor of that and in anticipation of the series premiere on October 13th, the next week of Throwback Reviews will focus on the 30th Anniversary R. McQuarrie Signature Series figures starting tomorrow.
Once the Throwback Reviews started, it was only a matter of time until we got to the worst figure ever. Check back tomorrow morning for one of the most unfortunate offerings from Hasbro to date.
The estimated delivery date of my SDCC Jabba the Hutt was supposed to be today. But that’s not how the story ends.
If you’re like us, Star Wars is your passion, but your pop-culture interests are varied (are you psyched for Guardians of the Galaxy?). We are focused as a Star Wars site and don’t want to water down the front page content with non-Star Wars news. but we don’t want you to miss out on other pop-culture news. For that reason, our own Darth Dre will star providing an off topic roundup as a weekly feature. Look for Darth Dre’s Off Topic Roundup coming soon.
If you recall the last time we teased something coming on a Saturday, you probably have a pretty good idea what we’ll be publishing tomorrow. You’ll definitely want to check back tomorrow for something really special.
I promise you that you will definitely want to check back after 6 AM tomorrow morning for a very special review.
Update: It’s live now here.
I’m numb. I could go down a list of the thousand ways in which I’m a Jon Favreau fan. Lets just say that I quoted Swingers for about a decade, and Elf and Iron Man are two of my all time favorites. So just knowing a Hollywood luminary such as Mr. Favreau viewed this little web site is quite a special event for us.
I'm sad to report a slipped image from toy merchandising spoiled my secret involvement in the Star Wars films. http://t.co/7BTqgXPYgi

We have received hundreds of e-mails complaining that there is no way to send us e-mail. Well, we heard you loud and clear. The “Contact” menu items has been brought back where you can send us either e-mail or contact us via Facebook.
SURPRISE! As you may have noticed we have a new look. And that look isn’t quite finished, but rather than keep building on the old site, we wanted to start adding content to this new site.
Although you may notice a new look to the page the primary motivation for this update is to be able to add new content to the site quickly and to provide a more interactive web site. To that point, we’ve re-enabled the comment section. This being the internet, please be sure to let us know how much you hate this!
Keep checking back as we will be adding features and capabilities daily.
