The recently revealed Vintage Collection Stormtrooper with sand/mud deco on the legs. Click for the full sized image.
The Star Wars internet was buzzing when the new Vintage Collection Stormtrooper was announced during Hasbro's SDCC panel presentation. It was explicitly mentioned that it was Rogue Once sourced. What did that mean? Well, once obsessive nerds started digging in, we noticed the sand/mud deco on the lower legs. Additionally the figure is missing the holster (which is accurate to Rogue One). Both are disappointing. A clean Stormtrooper with a holster offers the most display versatility even if that holster is a non-functioning clip on accessory strictly for aesthetics (actually that might be best). I personally think Hasbro should always err on the side of display versatility.
One thing that I've been very encouraged about with Hasbro is that they are listening to their fans. To that point, Steve Evans is asking for feedback on Instagram regarding the mud deco issue. We need a clean Stormrooper first (and preferably one with a holster): Head over to Instagram so you can weigh in. Vote clean!
