An entertainment property is often only as good as its villain. You root for the hero, but the antagonist really drives the story. You can see that echoed in the various Star Wars lines as the villain is often the most popular figure. Darth Maul was far and away the biggest draw of the Episode 1 line, outpacing the heroes. The next Darth Vader figure that peg warms significantly will be the first. Heck, even Kylo Ren was the only Black Series 3.75” repack in the 2018 Vintage Collection launch wave that didn’t pegwarm in great numbers.
The villains sell well, particularly when they come decked out in a Sith-esque black costume. Enter the Second Sister Inquisitor, whose real name is Trilla Suduri, as the primary antagonist of Fallen Order. When the first teaser reel for Fallen Order came out, I was immediately enamored with the look of the Second Sister, so much so that I immediately tracked down the comic Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith #19 which is the first appearance of the character. It’s one of those designs that just jumps out as new and exciting while also being instantly recognizable as Star Wars. Combined with the unique Inquisitor lightsaber design, and this figure would definitely be the “Darth Maul” of any Fallen Order subset. It’s the reason the Second Sister places tied for highest priority on our Fallen Order priority list.
