The hero in modern video games is often hard to distill into a single action figure since the appearance is typically customizable as is the case with Cal Kestis. That means that the “default” character configuration is usually the representation as a toy. For that reason, the Black Series 6” figure is shown in the character photo to the right. I couldn’t find an in-game screen shot showing the defaults of both Cal and BD-1 in the same image. We need that shrunk down to the proper 3.75” scale.
There are 5 base outfits for Cal, 23 different ponchos and 17 different BD-1 skins for 1,955 different possible combinations of the three. That means most players will have played in a configuration other than that default config, but that would be true of any configuration Hasbro could do. It’s not like The Force Unleashed where Galen Marek’s costume variations were more finite. That lack of a precise target, plus the fact that Cal is a ginger, makes it hard for me to give Cal a 10 priority, but Randy said he’d yell at me if I didn’t. He is the hero of the game after all. He being Cal, not Randy.
The real draw here would be a BD-1 figure which is too small to be released separately. As a side note, BD-1 rides on Cal’s back peaking over his shoulder as an homage to Yoda and Luke during the training on Dagobah. Neat.
