Target computers have revealed some new DPCI numbers (and sadly some not new ones). Hit the read more link to….read more.
Our own SithMan has reported that he found the Black Series 6” Stormtrooper at Target. Most of the reports of 6” Stormtrooper sightings have come from Toys R Us and Disney Stores. Target might be back in the fold.
I know it’s a bit of schadenfreude, but seeing lots of Angry Birds product placed on clearance in advance of Target’s next reset gives me “I told you so” joy. I also know that every packaging style gets placed on clearance eventually, but once again, a glut of Angry Birds Star Wars product remained unsold.
More good collecting news for people not named me. Forum member Bossk_MR sends in photographic evidence of his wave 3 score at a Target store in central Massachusetts.

Taken at a Target about 7 miles from the previous report.
Special thanks to forum member Bossk_MR who sends us pictorial proof that the once clearanced Vintage Collection / Black Series DPCI of 087-06-1351 is not back to full price in some stores.
As we reported on 12/27, the Vintage Collection / Black Series DPCI has been placed on clearance at Target. Some reports on Jedi Temple Archives in the subsequent days turned out to be worrisome. But a check of the Target scanners offers a glimmer of hope.
We don’t know if this is nationwide or not, but the usual post-Christmas clearance has netted a surprising inclusion this year. This could be good news or bad news. Click through for our uniformed analysis.
Most Target stores are not stocking The Black Series due to leftover Phantom Menace Vintage Colleciton figures. If you want to do something about it, Retweet this Tweet below. I would do it, but I’m Twitter phobic.
Tell @Target you WANT to buy @HasbroNews Star Wars 3 3/4" black series at their stores. #changethedpci the only way we'll get new figures

My quasi-local Target finished their reset. Click through for the details.
If you saw our previous report, Targets are undergoing a toy department reset this week, which usually ushers in new toys. However since the 3.75” Black Series shares the same DPCI as the Vintage Collection, many stores will not be stocking new Black Series figures upon completion of the reset due to Vintage Collection back stock. These stores will not be getting in 3.75” Black Series figures until that Vintage Collection stock sells through or until Hasbro reps recall them. Target takes guests concerns seriously. If your store happens to be back logged with old stock, voicing your concerns politely via Twitter, e-mail or in person may help remedy your situation.
Our interminable retail black out is about to end. Follow the jump link to get the details of the imminent Target reset.
At this point, it’s clear our own Darth Mire has a serial returner on his hands. The other day he found Lumat at Walmart. Now he finds more wave 16 figures at Target. I wish my returners were so nice. They only return peg warmers.
At the opposite end of the spectrum from the Toys R Us report below, my local Target managed to create an end cap display to ensure that we never escape the ridiculous glut of Phantom Menace product. When I scanned the Rise of Darth Vader package I was amazed to find that the price was on the display was correct. And not only have these items escaped clearance, the price scanner revealed there are more in the stock room. Glory day! Full sized image after the jump.
