Sideshow Collectibles is giving the Star Wars community a couple of threats during Spooktacular! Tonight they revealed a 1/6 environment Han Solo in Carbonite, and tomorrow a leaked Slave Leia Premium Format statue will be up for order. No official word yet when the Han in Carbonite will go on sale, but recent history suggests it will be available in next week’s newsletter. This week’s customizer is Bantha Skull’s resident hater, Ruadh. Though he has pretty much given up the hobby, he still has the bug every now and then. Mostly focusing on Sandtroopers and Boba Fett, Ruadh’s customs entail everything from simple repaints, to complete part swaps.

Even I checked Clone Wars out for a bit, just to get a taste, and I’m probably the biggest hater I know on the animated feature released a couple months ago. Around 4 million people tuned in to watch the premiere episodes though, naturally with a severe kid demographic. No one is probably surprised that it was the Cartoon Network’s most-watched series premiere ever. If nothing else, it’s keeping Star Wars alive for a while longer. Tune in tonight if you enjoy Ahsoka, as it’s another episode featuring her and that Sky-Guy.
You probably own at least one Master Replica Star Wars prop, helmet, or lightsaber. The company no longer held the license to produce their reproductions of items seen in the Star Wars films as of January of this year, but fans need not fret. Hasbro now has the license and is shipping out the same Force FX sabers MR was producing. Plans are to make some new designs not handled by MR, but for now you can still get the old favorites that aren’t that easy to find under the MR label anymore.

In tonight’s newsletter, Sideshow has revealed that their next 1/6 Star Wars figure will be the 212th Attack Battalion Utapau Clone Trooper! We’ve long been wondering when Sideshow would produce their first clone, and Obi-Wan’s clone army is a great place to start. Keep your eyes out for next week’s newsletter, there’s a good chance it will be your first chance to order this traitor to the Jedi.

This week we gripe about a really cool little subgroup in Star Wars collectible history that was completely ruined and then tossed aside by Hasbro.
The official site brings news of the clone wars DVD release including multiple versions and Blu-Ray for the cool kids marking the first time anything branded Star Wars will appear in the majesty of 1080p. Click through for the details.
The newest addition to the Medicom family of Real Action Hero Clone Troopers is none other than the EPII Clone Captain! No word yet on who will be distributing this figure, but reports are that he will be limited to 250 pieces.

There is a variation to the clone locker pack-ins for the Saga Legends figures. The lockers are different from Wave 1 to Wave 2, as are the paint applications to the weapons inside. Click the thumbnail to see the differences in our forums.
