Another Potential Development In Rebelsgate

I spoke with a mid-level retailer this morning who had an interesting tidbit about his order for wave 1 of the Saga Legends (Rebels) assortment.  I need to preface what follows by saying this is from only one source and may not be indicative of a widespread issue.  It might not even be permanent.

My source ordered Saga Legends wave 1, which includes the first Rebels figures, through Diamond Distributors.  His order has been cancelled.  My source said that sometimes items get cancelled and then reinstated, but he has never had a Hasbro product order cancelled before.  He suspects this is permanent. 

Take this for what it’s worth.  It’s a single report from one retailer for one order, but do what you feel is necessary.  Could Hasbro have halted production of wave 1 since their product was held up at the Chinese docks and moved the factories on to wave 2?  Potentially.  Most of the figures will be carried forward into future waves or repacked in the Mission Series.  But if you haven’t yet acquired Agent Kallus, who is not listed as a carry forward at this time, you may need to consider how important that figure is to you.
