Last Figure Standing Nomination Phase Ends Tonight At 11:59

The critical nomination phase of Last Figure Standing is coming to a close tonight at 11:59 PM ET. It has been another successful year. As of the time of this writing, we're sitting at 1,233 submissions, but we want more. The more data you provide, the better the line can represent the will of the collectors. One thing we're worried about is that some members of the community think that posting their 10 most wanted on social media counts as a submission. It does not. Only by clicking on the above link and filling out the Google form will your vote be counted. Last year we had 1,483 submissions for the inaugural Last Figure Standing. With a busy frenzy to close out the nomination phase, we should meet or exceed that number, but we'd really like to get more. Mr. Miko is personally sweetening the pot:


If we get to 1,500 submissions, the four items pictured above will be given away to four lucky winners. You can read the details HERE. If you think that Bantha Skull is being stingy by not adding anything to the kitty, it's because we have a pricey giveaway planned for later this year, but I don't want to give away the ghost on those details yet.

I can promise you that we don't play any games with this poll. It would defeat the purpose. We want to get real input from the fans and pass it onto the decision makers at Hasbro in the most consumable and actionable format possible. Our goal is for this to be both a service to the community, and a tool for Hasbro. The Last Figure Standing team is merely acting as a pass through. Aside from normalizing all the different ways fans can describe the same exact figure into a standardized name, what you submit gets forwarded. We feel this is the best way for you to make your voice heard to the brand team, but you can't do that unless you submit you 10 most wanted Vintage Collection figures.

We're a passionate group of fans. Let it show by getting involved in Last Figure Standing.

Once this phase concludes. we will take the next few weeks to perform that normalization process. It's a tedious and time consuming, but necessary, and some judgement calls have to be made. But these decisions are always made in committee and with multiple fan outlets involved. For example, last year it was decided that votes for "Anakin Skywalker (World Between Worlds)" would be counted as "Anakin Skywalker (Episode III)" since they would be the same exact sculpt. As we did last year, we will be very transparent with such decisions when we have the livestream to announced the Last Figure Standing Top 10 on Sunday, October 6th, at 5PM. That is where the fun begins. From there, we will enter the elimination rounds until we crown the 2024 Last Figure Standing.
