Our inaugural Complete the Crew effort featured a "crew" in the loosest sense of the word. The Prisoner Skiff was populated by 6 actual crew members, one of which was a mole, along with 3 prisoners that were being transported to their deaths, and whose contingent was rounded out by a late-arriving bounty hunter. Today we have a group that formed out of necessity based on dubious and haphazard circumstances, but quickly found common ground and united to shake the very foundations of the First Galactic Empire.
VC130 Cassian Andor - a rebel agent with questionable methods VC170 K-2SO - a reprogrammed former imperial droid VC119 Jyn Erso - a rebellious misfit taken prisoner by the Alliance because of her familial link to a top Imperial scientist VC170 Chirrut Îmwe - a warrior-monk and loyal Guardian of the Whills
Baze Malbus - a Guardian of the Whills-turned-freelance assassin
Bodhi Rook - an Imperial pilot defector
Baze Malbus and Bodhi Rook weren't back from their In-N-Out run in time for the group photo, so Cassian found a couple of mannequins and dressed them up.
The first four characters are available in full super-articulated glory. While Cassian and Jyn were first offered in the horrific Walmart Black Series [Editor's Note: I suggest anyone reading, writing, speaking, or thinking those last three words should toss a little salt over your shoulder], all four were released in The Vintage Collection.
With the recent (and awesome) Chirrut Îmwe, a lot of collectors assumed that his partner-in-crime, Baze Malbus, would immediately follow. For whatever reason, that hasn't been the case, but it's probably safe to assume he's at least in the works. There's been even less to go on as far as predicting a Bodhi Rook release, other than the fact that Hasbro is 2/3 of the way through this fan-favorite crew. If Baze (the more likely of the two) comes along, that would leave Bodhi as the last remaining member needing an action figure to complete the crew. Just ask Velken Tezeri how that goes.
In the meantime, you can demean your 3.75" display out of necessity by adding the 5POA versions of Baze and Bodhi. I know, it's a horrendous thing to do, but Hasbro has put us into this bind, and they should feel really bad about it. However, they have the power to do the right thing and correct this awful situation.
