This wave rounds out nicely with another stellar figure. The only complaint is the robe which is so distressed that it looks like it belongs to a Tusken Raider. The card photo and reference photos clearly show the robe intact. Aside from that it’s a great figure. An expressive and detailed head sculpt. Nice detailing throughout the figure. Even thought it falls short of ultimate articulation with swivel joints at the hip and wrists, it’s still a very articulated figure for a secondary character. A great addition to any Geonosis display. 9 out of 10.

Yet another example of the glory that is the one true scale. An outstanding action figure made of a character that might have about 3 frames of screen time. Fi-Ek Sirch fought at Petranaki Arena on Geonosis as part of the Jedi Assault Team with the mission to rescue Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padmé from Count Dooku. His fate was never canonized, although his “Legends” Wookieepedia page has him likely killed by battle droids.
As Chris mentioned, there’s not much to complain about, even 7 years later. The only thing missing from the articulation would be ball jointed hips, and perhaps ball jointed wrists, but as a blink-and-you’ll-miss-him backgrounder, what we have is perfectly cromulent. The sculpt is terrific, as is the Nikto face. Hasbro has nailed this particular species, and this figure is no exception. The included hilt can plug into the hole in the belt. The only real complaint, again mentioned by Chris, is the robe. It’s a rare Jedi robe that is light brown, and Hasbro seems to have opted to go for a whole different fabric, rather than attempt to recolor the typical dark brown robe material. What we have, frankly, is a Jedi shmata; something that maybe was substandard in 2011, but since Bantha Skull’s resurgence, is now a trendy addition to any action figure. I’d almost give it extra points for the shmata, but not everyone would agree with that, for whatever reason.
While the robe and articulation could stand a bit of an improvement, it’s simply unnecessary. This figure is a definitive version of Fi-Ek Sirch. We should have no need for another attempt. This figure is perfect for your arena battle dioramas.
Verdict: No Action
Ebay values are moderate, probably below average for most TVC figures we’ve reviewed again so far. It’s also the definitive version of the character, which had almost no screen time. As such, we should be happy with what we have, and Hasbro should move on from Fi-Ek Sirch. If you don’t have him, and are a fan of the Jedi figures, get one now.
Verdict Guide:
Re-sculpt = The figure is not definitive, and a new version should be developed.
Re-issue = This version is definitive (or close enough), and shows sufficient secondary market demand to warrant a straight repack.
No Action = This release does not require new attention.
