LT Sefla rounds out the trio (along with Admiral Raddus and Galen Erso) that made up the “lost” final wave of figures from the Rogue One line.  Should you be looking to add this 5POA figure to your collection?  Maybe you should, especially since, as we’ve discussed before, this may be your only shot at owning this character in this scale.

Other than a handful of other characters that had more screen time and more important dialogue, LT Sefla seems like a reasonable 5POA choice as the Rogue One line was phased out in favor of The Last Jedi line.  He easily meets our 5POA baseline rating of 4, due to the solid stance, the outstanding sculpt, and the excellent paint applications.  While I am not familiar enough with the actor to rate the actual likeness, the face sculpt as a random human is tremendous, and packs quite a bit of personality.  It is unfortunate that the paint along the hairline isn’t perfect on my sample, almost making the figure look like he’s wearing some kind of mask.  Other than that it’s a great look.  You can cover this up by posing the figure to wear the removable helmet, which is also a great little accessory.  It fits snugly on the head, but its removable nature is a big plus for this figure, and looks cool when he holds it in his hand.  The uniform has several different colors that make an appealing “pop”, which contrasts with many of the figures from the current TLJ line.  The sculpt of the uniform is also excellent.  You can even see zipper teeth along the vest seam, which is a sweet touch.  The sculpted folds and wrinkles are more than satisfactory, and the various textures, particularly on the belt and pouches, add a nice touch.

Along with the helmet, the figure also interacts well with the rifle and the included missile launcher.  At first I assumed this was just a Hasbro invention for play value, but this might actually be the HH-12 missile launcher used by Baze Malbus to hit the AT-ACT in the FACE.  Therefore, this is a particularly nice touch.

There are a couple of nits.  It would have been great if the jacket was removable, which could have possibly allowed you to buy a couple as troop builders (although the portly nature of the character kind of makes him stand out and might preclude any notion of “army building”).  Also, it might have been a good idea to add a bit of grime to this character, but that could sometimes go wrong.

Other than the obvious lack of super-articulation, this is really a nice figure.  It gets points for the removable helmet, great sculpt, and paint apps.  The nits don’t really bring it down much.  Even if you’re a hard-core SA collector, consider adding this to your collection, especially if you enjoyed Rogue One.  It doesn’t score points for anything groundbreaking, but it does achieve an excellent rating, at least for a 5POA offering.
