Here’s another bonus review for you Sixers, thanks again to the generosity of Litzky PR.  This one is the SDCC 2017 Grand Admiral Thrawn, in special packaging with exclusive accessories.  So is this set as impressive as it’s price and lack of availability?

Again, I will have to freely admit that this is a beautiful set.  The packaging is grand, and the box opens up to reveal what would essentially be Thrawn’s office.  The figure itself is currently available at regular retail in typical Black Series packaging, sans his rare collectibles.  It’s a good figure, that does all the things that 6” figures do.  The joints of this sample are solid, and he is very posable.  In addition to the spectacular packaging, Thrawn comes with several artifacts that he had on display in is Imperial office on board the Chimaera.  He’s got a statue with a couple of Ysalamiri, Gree’s helmet, a Jedi Temple Guard mask, a lightsaber, and Indy’s Holy Grail.

The whole setup is impressive, and if you were interested in the set, hopefully you were able to score one when it was available.

As with other 6” figures, I won’t do a rating, as I do not have enough of them to judge, nor would I feel I could be impartial.
