R5-C7
Just a quick shot review on this build-a-droid figure. Not much to go over here. This droid can be seen rolling in the background of the alley behind the Coruscant Outlander Club, where Obi-Wan and Anakin escort the wounded Zam Wessel in order to interrogate her about the assassination attempt on Padmé.
Who doesn’t love the build-a-droids? People with no soul, that’s who. The astromechs were a little old hat by the time the line was done, but I just loved the obscurity from which most of them were sourced. It would have been unlikely that Hasbro was ever going to release such background droids in any other format, so as far as I was concerned, the more obscure, the better. There generally didn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason for which droid parts were included in which wave. TLC had themed waves, but the BADs didn’t necessarily match up. R5-C7 is from AOTC, but the pieces were included in an ROTJ themed wave. As James McGill once said, ” ‘S all good, man.”
