I’ve got a lot of reviews to catch up on.  I’ve got 8 more basic figures to cover, as well as three different 4-packs, with seemingly more on the horizon in a few weeks.  So everyone just take it easy.  We’re gonna be alright.

Here’s another figure that is excellent, gets us closer to completing a crew, supports a Haslab, and represents a character that most collectors seem to like.  On the other hand, it’s a minor retool/repaint, is light on accessories, and is the third outfit of the character we’ve gotten in TVC in less than 3 years.  As we’ve discussed recently, apparently Hasbro’s idea of support for The Ghost is to repeatedly give us variations of the same crew members.  Whatever.

This Hera Syndulla figure, along with VC318 Kanan Jarrus and the unnumbered deluxe Garazeb ‘Zeb’ Orrelios, form what we now have as the Season 1/2 versions of the Spectres. He’s not in that image above, but I guess we have Chopper as well, since I don’t really think his look changed over the course of the show, but I could be wrong about that.

In order to maximize tooling and minimize production costs, Hasbro used HAS003 Hera Syndulla (from the Ghost Haslab), gave her a new upper body, and repainted her completely in order to achieve the Season 1/2 look.  Other than that, the figure is essentially the same.  We gave HAS003 a 10/10, so no reason to change it here.  It’s an excellent figure in just about every way.  The articulation is top notch, the sculpt is flawless, the deco colors are accurate (as far as I know) and vivid.

The complaint I have for this figure is that it only comes with the pistol (which fits nicely in the ankle holster).  Like HAS003, she does not come with a helmet/visor.  It was worse for the Haslab version because she is depicted on the card art with the helmet - and likewise appears that way in the mural.  But again, it’s missing from this release.

The figure is great, and if you’re a fan of the show or the character, or just alien pilots in general, you’ll love this figure.  It’s just not particularly exciting to me given the circumstances mentioned in the beginning of the review, but that doesn’t take away from the execution.  10/10.
