R5-P8
This is the one figure that you might want out of the entire bunch. R5-P8 was first seen in The Clone Wars, and was part of Hondo Ohnaka’s gang. Decades later, he is still in Hondo’s possession on Batuu, as seen in the Galaxy’s Edge theme park. In the TVC Galaxy’s Edge Millennium Falcon, R5-P8 can be heard during several of the electronic sequences that can be triggered by the various buttons.
This is a debut figure in the line, and utilizes the still excellent Build-A-Droid mold from the Legacy Collection. As such, it is the only collector level figure that was part of the Celebrate the Saga sets [Editor’s Note: I think Mr. Nomadscout is forgetting about R7-A7 from the Jedi Order set which is also collector level]. The figure has the expected astromech articulation, along with a nice grimy paint job. Sadly, it is missing the dome blaster that R5-P8 sports in The Clone Wars. It wouldn’t have taken much to include that in this set, but I guess it was already a leap just to get the character made at all. It’s got articulated legs and feet, 3 wheels, and the removable third foot. It fits well in your collection, and is a welcome character debut.
IG-88
I needed to make a note here, as right out of the package, my sample was unable to stand. It seems one leg is shorter than the other, and along with garbagey wet noodle plastic, it took all the patience I could muster to get this to stand for the photographs. The figure is remarkable in how terrible it is.
Boba Fett, Jango Fett, Bossk
Nothing to see here. All these are repacks of previous 5POA releases. Since they don’t have human faces, Hasbro didn’t even have to bother with any Photo-Real updates. Easy pass on this trio.

Hasbro released 8 celebrate the Saga 5-packs. That’s 40 figures in total. R5-P8 is the only collector grade figure that was included in the 40 figures. While there were a few “debut characters”, this one is by far the biggest star of the entire run. If you were willing to throw down $30 for any one of the sets, this would be the one. Even still, it’s $30 for a $12 figure, at best. But such is life.
