One of the most memorable scenes from the first act of Return of the Jedi is Luke Skywalker drawing down on Jabba the Hutt while completely surrounded by his henchmen.  We have figures of all the miscreants encircling Luke except for Shasa Tiel.  She is the Ishi Tib that appears directly behind Luke Skywalker as Wooof approaches with his hands raised like it’s the Thriller video.  That makes Shasa Tiel one of the more important figures if you want to set up that display, but she has never been made into an action figure to date.  She is easily the most prominent alien in the palace that can make that claim.

You may be thinking that Hasbro has already made an Ishi Tib.  This is true.  In 1998 a figure appeared in the Freeze Frame packaging under the name “Ishi Tib” which is the species and not a character name.  That figure was not Shasa Tiel.  It was the Unidentified Rebel Ishi Tib that appeared on Home One.  Even if that particular figure was indeed Shasa Tiel, we would still be arguing that it is Missing In Action Figure since POTF2 figures are arguably not part of the modern line.  Considering she has never been made, Shasa Tiel is easily one of the most needed and compelling untapped figures from Jabba’s palace.
