Rayc Ryjerd appears in both the palace and on the barge, but he is more visible while on the pleasure craft. Star Wars is a universe were everyone must be related to someone else established on screen, so for that reason, Rayc is the son of Rycar Ryjerd in some terrible continuity somewhere. The elder Ryjerd is one of my most wanted figures due to his prominence in the Cantina scene, so I have an associative soft spot for his idiot son (wikipedia’s words not mine). But being the spawn of one of my most wanted figure is not justification enough for a figure to be made. While I certainly would welcome a Rayc Ryjerd figure in my collection, he would sell as poorly as the more prominently featured Malakili.
Like the other background humans from Jabba’s entourage, he probably doesn’t have a place in the basic figure line, but he does have a place in most collectors’ palace displays. So throw Rayc in a box with some other background palace denizens and nerds will pay, Ray. Nerds will pay.
