This guy moved a little light pen across a screen.  We have no idea what he was tracking exactly.  Presumably it was very high tech and important work that required no distractions like insensitive jerks asking him what he was doing. 

This guy appears to be a basic communications tech.  There were loads of them.  Should this figure be made?  No.  Should this accessory be made?  Yes.  Hasbro released a very nice Hoth viewscreen 15 years ago.  It holds up, but could be updated.  If they wanted an excuse to put it out there again, how about packing in this guy?  There are worse choices.  I guess.
